Sunil Varma

Indukuri Sunil Varma (born 28 February, 1974), is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in Telugu films, with occasional appearances in Tamil and Malayalam films. He gained recognition with K. Vijaya Bhaskar's *Nuvve Kavali* (2000) and appeared primarily in comedic roles during the 2000s. His films from this period include *Nuvvu Nenu* (2001), *Nuvvu Naaku Nachav* (2001), *Manmadhudu* (2002), *Sontham* (2002), *Athadu* (2005), and *Dhee* (2007). He took on leading roles in S. S. Rajamouli's sports drama *Maryada Ramanna* (2010), followed by *Poola Rangadu* (2012) and *Tadakha* (2013). In the late 2010s and 2020s, Sunil appeared in antagonist and supporting character roles, including Mangalam Srinu in *Pushpa: The Rise* (2021) and *Pushpa 2: The Rule* (2024), as well as a role in Nelson Dilipkumar's Tamil film *Jailer* (2023). Over a career spanning more than 200 films, he has won three Nandi Awards, including Best Comedian and a Special Jury Award, and two Filmfare Awards South.
