Eva Lomby

Early in her career, a choreographer told Eva Lomby, “You have something to say.” It all started at the ballet barre, where her instinct for movement, expression, and charisma first set her apart — qualities that would later become the foundation of her acting. Born in the south of France into a multicultural family of Senegalese, Slovak, Polish and French heritage, Lomby brings that breadth of experience to every character she inhabits. Her journey began in ballet, taking her from the stage of Disney’s *The Lion King*, where she performed as a soloist in the ballet sequence to Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” to Spain’s National Dance Company in Madrid, where she became fluent in Spanish. That physicality has since become a signature of her screen work. After starring as Gia in Amazon Studios’ *Birds of Paradise*, Lomby went on to work in German television, performing in German, as well as a number of independent features. Recently, she received a **Best Actress accolade from the Red Movies Award in France** for her performance as Zoé, a French expat navigating life in Berlin in *I Might Regret This*, which she also wrote and executive produced. Never one to stay in a single lane, Lomby moves between drama and comedy with a chameleon-like versatility. She has also wrapped a lead role in a Berlin-based horror film, playing a vampire ballerina — bringing her dance background full circle in an entirely different genre. Fluent in five languages, Lomby is an international talent whose distinctive physicality, movement expertise, and magnetic screen presence continue to open new creative territory.
