Hsu Tsing brings her son Cheng Chung-sheng to have their fortune read. She is pick pocketed in the crowd. Chung-sheng hotly pursues the pickpocket, exposing himself to a dangerous situation. Luckily, his father Kuei-yuan arrives in time to get them off the hook. The three return home.
