Sumit Sambhal Lega

Maya is upset with the invasive behavior of Sumit's family, especially his awful mother. The Walias live across the street and have the habit of bursting in unannounced. When Maya wants to be alone on her birthday and Sumit's family wants to have a party, he tries to come up with a plan to make everyone happy, but it ends up in a mess.

Sumit makes fun of his friends. He professes his love to Maya. Sumit's father asks him to not interfere in his personal matters. Dolly expresses her love for her family. Sumit and Maya apologize to Sumit's parents.

Lucky takes Sumit to Jito's restaurant, which has a waitress. Anju calls Sumit to tell him that he forgot his wallet at the restaurant. Sumit goes back to get his wallet but is shocked to see his father there. Maya insists on going to Jito's restaurant, where Sumit's parents also arrive.

Maya becomes upset with Sumit because he is always late coming home from work. When she catches him having pizza and playing at work, he reluctantly decides to work from home. At home, he starts to mess up the house, and Rajneesh and Jasbir come over a lot more, Maya asks him to go back to the office.

Jasbir gets into an argument with Dolly, criticising her about the dahi kachoris she has made. Sumit fails to convince Dolly to let go, so he goes to Jasbir, and Maya tries to talk to Dolly.

Maya is irritated by the noise Jasbir makes with the drilling machine; Jasbir finds the Resident Welfare Association people showing Sumit a video of the ruckus created by his parents.

Sumit gets upset when the team chooses Rajneesh as their captain--and GK Giants reach the finals. Rajneesh tries to throw his weight around. The team decides to make Sumit the captain. Rajneesh quits the team and decides to join the rival team, Daryaganj Devils.

Dolly goes with Jasbir and Rajneesh to Sumit's house to watch her favourite serial. Maya and Sumit think about a way to bring Alia's tantrums under control. They go to Alia's teacher for help. Sumit uses the solution given by the teacher to solve Alia's problem.

Aliya is having trouble sleeping in her own room, much to Sumit's dismay, because she kicks and keeps him awake. The next day he brings Dolly to sleep with Aliya without Maya's knowledge, but Jasbir foils his plan.

Jasbir is all motivated to form a kabaddi team. Sumit gets upset as Jasbir invites Rajneesh but not him to join the team. Sumit pretends to be having a pain in his leg when Jasbir puts him in the rival team. He confronts Jasbir about his partiality with his sons.

Alia writes a letter to one of Sumit's distant relatives in Punjab. This relative soon shows up at the Walias' front door, bringing warmth and togetherness to the family. The problem: she isn't really their relative.

Maya reminds Sumit about Alia's birthday. Sumit is dejected to learn that his father lied to him about Sachin's autograph. Sumit's father and Rajneesh disguise themselves as cartoon character Captain Cheetah. Later, Sumit's father apologizes for lying to him about Sachin's autograph.

Rajneesh is feeling lonely on the anniversary of the day when his fiancée left him. Jasbir and Dolly suggest to Sumit that he take Rajneesh out to get his mind off it. It turns out to be a good night, until Rajneesh finds out why it happened. Later ,Sumit tells him that he actually loved spending time with him, and they make up.

Sumit apologises to Maya for not paying the dues. Dolly asks Sumit and Maya to attend the kitty party at her house. Sumit loses 10,000 Rs Jasbir while playing ludo with his lodge buddies Nippi and Manjeet. Maya and Dolly try to get the money returned. It turns out that Dolly has been stealing money from Jasbir and saving it behind his back.

Rajneesh is attracted to Maya's friend Simran, who invites him to her society to rescue a dog. Sumit feels insecure when Maya praises Rajneesh to encourage him. He tells Dolly that Rajneesh has gone to meet a girl. Later, Maya makes Sumit realise that he is perfect for her.

Maya, Alia, and Avi fall sick just before Sumit has an interview with Kapil Dev. He takes Alia to the doctor. Kapil refuses to be interviewed at the clinic. Dolly takes care of Maya in Sumit's absence. Sumit gets Alia's checkup done. He reschedules his interview with Kapil. Later, Kapil falls sick as well.

Jasbir asks Sumit to prepare a speech for his grandfather's funeral. Dolly's sister Minti visits. Maya helps Sumit with his speech. Dolly is upset with Sumit for supporting Minti. Sumit forgets his speech. Later, he tries to make things right between Dolly and Minti.

Rajneesh arrests Jasbir's friend Bittu for selling fake diamonds, which worries Sumit because he had bought Maya's engagement ring from Bittu. He steals the ring from Maya, but later learns that she had replaced the diamond with a real one after finding out that hers was fake. Maya makes Sumit find the diamond on learning that he has thrown it away.

Jasbir begins to consider himself a writer after a storytelling radio show publishes one of his stories. He writes his own column and asks Sumit to give it to his editor. But his narrations irritate his family and they wish he would stop writing the column.

The Walias celebrate Jasbir's birthday: Dolly gifts him a sweater; Sumit tells Rajneesh that he has ordered a fish tank for Jasbir--he then must comfort depressed Jasbir when a fish in the tank dies.

Dolly tells Sumit about her and Jasbir's medical reports. Maya tells Sumit that Dolly wants to learn how to cook healthy food. Later, Dolly insists that Jasbir, Rajneesh, and Sumit eat right. She is upset when Sumit orders food from a restaurant, and Sumit is shocked when he sees Dolly eating chicken.

Sumit is elated when Avi says "Papa" as his first word. He is nervous during his interview with Harsha Bhogle. Later, Maya, Jasbir, and Dolly point out Sumit's mistake in the interview. Sumit messes up his interview with Harsha, once again. Later, he asks for feedback from Dolly, Jasbir, Maya, and Rajneesh.

Maya confronts Sumit as Rajneesh misbehaves with Simran in the market. She tells Rajneesh that she will introduce Simran to Dolly. Later, Sumit introduces Simran to Dolly. Sumit tells Dolly that Rajneesh and Simran are friends. Dolly is upset with Maya for lying to her about Simran.

Maya, Sumit, and Rajneesh plan a surprise wedding anniversary party for Jasbir and Dolly, and Sumit gets annoyed when Jasbir and Dolly start bickering. He tells Maya that their future will be the same as Jasbir and Dolly's present.

Maya asks Sumit to manage the household expenses. Sumit is shocked to learn that he has paid Rs 2.5 lakh instead of Rs 25,000 by mistake. He takes money from Rajneesh, but fails to deposit it in his account. Maya tries to make Sumit realize his mistake.

Dolly tells Sumit that Jasbir has won the award from Jay Jawan Friends Club and asks him to make a speech at the award ceremony. Later, Jasbir confronts Sumit and Rajneesh for making a video of his friends regarding their views about him. He praises Dolly's looks.

Jasbir and Dolly show Sumit's childhood photographs to Maya. Maya learns about Sumit's reunion party. Sumit introduces Maya to his friend Shaunti. At the party, Sumit's friends make fun of him and he confronts Maya after she dances with his friend.

Rajneesh asks Sumit to accompany him for patrolling and Maya allows him to go. Rajneesh confronts Sumit for making fun of him. He arrests a few goons for teasing a girl. Rajneesh confronts Sumit because he took the credit for arresting the goons.

Sumit is excited about his work trip to London, then upset when the trip is canceled. Maya is annoyed with Sumit's boring wish-list, and he's depressed to feel that he has no goal in life. Jasbir and Dolly tell Sumit about their dreams, and Jasbir tries bungee jumping.

When Rajneesh tells Sumit that Jasbir hit a police jeep, Maya decides not to send her children with Jasbir as he is a rash driver. Sumit asks Jasbir to get his driving license and tells Maya that Jasbir has passed the driving test.

Maya and Sumit tell Dolly about the pest infestation at their house. Dolly asks them to stay at her house. Maya plans to annoy Dolly. Sumit shares a room with Rajneesh. Maya and Sumit turn Dolly's house upside-down.

Sumit invites his friends to watch a cricket match, while Maya throws a kitty party. Dolly decides to prepare desi pasta for the party. Maya is upset about Dolly's interference in her life and sends her a letter. Later, Maya regrets sending the letter to Dolly and apologises to her.

Rajneesh's family interrupts him in the middle of a private moment with Simran. Sumit provokes Rajneesh to leave the house. Maya asks Sumit to take Avi and Alia to a kids-zone and Maya's friends praise Sumit for supporting them. Later, Rajneesh and Jasbir are shocked to notice Sumit and Maya's strange behaviour towards each other. Jasbir tries to make Maya realise her mistake. Maya confronts Sumit about lying to her.

Sumit apologises to Maya on Jasbir's behalf. Maya, suffering from a cold, gets irritated as Jasbir, Dolly, and Rajneesh disturb her. Sumit reminds Maya about her wish of a few years ago, to live with his parents. Maya regrets her mistake. The Walias celebrate Avi's birthday.

Sumit stays home to receive the delivery of the new curtains while Rajneesh enjoys freedom in his new apartment. Sumit tells Rajneesh about the downside of marriage. Maya scolds Sumit as Rajneesh and Simran break up because of him, and Sumit tries to convince Rajneesh to get back with Simran.

Dolly asks Sumit what's bothering him and he tells her about his argument with Maya. Meanwhile, Maya shares her sorrows with Rajneesh. Later, Maya and Sumit apologise to each other for their mistakes, and Maya is upset with Sumit for complaining to Jasbir and Dolly about her.

Maya tells Sumit that her schoolteacher, Mrs Mathur, will be visiting them. She introduces her to Sumit. Later, Sumit introduces Jasbir and Dolly to Mrs. Mathur. Maya is jealous when Mrs. Mathur praises the Walias; seeing this, Sumit praises Maya.

Maya calls Sumit effeminate when he fails to help her while she chokes on an orange seed. Later, Sumit arm-wrestles with Jasbir to prove his manliness. Sumit ends up injuring Maya while he tries to remove a splinter lodged in her finger. Rajneesh and his friends mock Sumit.

Dolly and Maya ask Sumit to meet Rajneesh, who introduces his neighbour Preeti to him. Sumit informs Maya that Rajneesh is depressed after his breakup with Simran. Later, Sumit is shocked to see Dolly and Jasbir at Rajneesh's house. Preeti invites Rajneesh to a party.

Maya informs Sumit that she wants to start working and tells Dolly that she will attend an interview, after which she tells Sumit that she has secured a job. Later, a dejected Maya informs Sumit that she has lost her job. Sumit tries to calm Maya and encourages her to search for a new job.

Sumit decides to draft his will and Maya supports him. They decide to appoint Maya's parents as Avi and Alia's guardians, but when they refuse, Sumit is compelled to make Dolly and Jasbir his children's guardians.

Dolly arranges her friends Sheela and Nippy's wedding-anniversary celebration at her home, and Sumit and Maya decide to entertain the guests by doing their impersonations of Jasbir and Dolly--however, they get offended when Jasbir and Dolly imitate them back.

Rajat, Monty, and Puggy refuse to party with Sumit. Sumit tells Rajneesh that Maya has gone to Mumbai. He asks Rajneesh to apologise to him. Later, Rajneesh confronts Sumit for trying to frighten him. He apologises to Sumit for his mistake. Sumit and Rajneesh plan to frighten Jasbir.

Alia tells Maya and Sumit that her class must run a food stall at a fun-fair event, and the Walias accompany Alia to the event. Purkayastha, who is in charge of the food stall, asks Maya to bring the snacks; she refuses, but Sumit brings them, and Jasbir and Rajneesh make fun of him.

Maya and Rajneesh go to the disco together on Sumit's advice, but Sumit is jealous to learn that Maya enjoys dancing with Rajneesh. He tries to create misunderstandings between the two so that their next outing is canceled. However, they find out about Sumit's plan and confront him.

Sumit and Maya take IQ tests to help Rajneesh get a promotion, and Maya comforts Sumit when he's upset that she scored higher than he did. Sumit takes advantage of Maya's sympathy and pretends to be upset. Later, Rajneesh tells them that their scores got swapped. Finally, Maya and Sumit learn that the test was a hoax.

Dolly asks Sumit and Jasbir to fast on the occasion of Karva Chauth. Rajneesh tries to stop Jasbir from eating. However, he finds Sumit eating at a restaurant. Maya finds out about Sumit's deed and Jasbir learns about Dolly ending her fast.

Jasbir and Rajneesh praise the Amritsari koftas prepared by Maya. Bobby praises the food and tells Maya about Sumit making fun of her culinary skills. Maya confronts Sumit, while Dolly confronts Maya. Jasbir scolds Sumit for making fun of Maya.

Sumit informs Maya about Bobby and Puggy's plan to launch their own company. Maya asks Sumit not to invest in their business, but he says he already gave them Rs 2 lakh. Maya tries to make Sumit realise his folly, however, he learns that Maya herself has borrowed money from Dolly.

Rajneesh and Simran reunite. He is compelled to move into Sumit's house, as his apartment concierge misunderstands his relationship with Simran. The drama unfolds when Dolly learns about Simran and Rajneesh staying at Sumit's house.

Dolly restores an old table-tennis board for Alia and Avi. Rajneesh teases Sumit for crying during a match with Jasbir. This annoys Sumit and he argues with Jasbir over the victory of a match in his childhood. The drama unfolds when the two challenge each other to a fresh game.

Maya's snoring drives Sumit to sleep in the living room. Later, Maya stays up all night to allow Sumit a peaceful sleep. Jasbir tells Sumit about curing Dolly's snoring problem by showering her with love; however, Sumit fails to put Jasbir's idea into practice.

When Sumit buys a photo frame to give Maya's mother for her birthday, Dolly asks Sumit for a photo frame as well. She intends to have a family picture taken and becomes upset when Maya's parents and Simran show up for the photoshoot. Sumit loses his temper trying to manage both families.

Dolly asks Maya to return her pickle jar, which is of some sentimental value. Maya claims to have returned it. An argument ensures between them and Dolly apologises for her misgivings. Later, Maya realises that the pickle jar is actually in her house and struggles to smuggle it back to Dolly's house.

Rajneesh tells Maya about the CBI interview scheduled for him. Later, Rajneesh informs Sumit that Dolly had sent a fax to Khurana, the Deputy Director of the CBI. He blames Dolly for ruining his interview and asks her to stay away from him. Dolly apologises to Khurana for her mistake.

Maya advises Sumit to host a Diwali dinner at their house. She asks Sumit to tell Dolly that she would prepare the food. Later, Sumit tells Maya that Dolly has invited their relatives. Maya argues with Dolly over the preparation of laddoos.

Maya tells Sumit that she has invited Simran for dinner. Later, Maya decides not react to Dolly's taunts. She tells Sumit that her lack of response has made Dolly stop her taunts. Jasbir makes fun of Sumit. Dolly tries to make Maya realise her mistake. Jasbir and Rajneesh apologise to Sumit.

Maya informs Sumit about elections for the chairman of the parent-teacher association. She tells him about the candidate announcement. Maya informs Rajneesh that she has lost the election. Maya yells at Sumit for not voting for her.

Maya is furious with Sumit for inviting them. She is impressed to see Jasbir and Dolly enjoy their lunch without talking with each other.

Maya's mother pays her a visit. Sumit tells Maya that Dolly is better than her mother. Dolly and Jasbir bring a cake for Maya's mother. Maya is upset as her mother does not want to spend time with the family. Dolly is impressed with Maya for praising her in front of the mother.

Rajneesh tells Sumit that Rima had gone to the police station to meet him. Sumit asks Rajneesh not to tell Simran about it. However, Rajneesh tells Simran that Rima wants to meet him. He asks Dolly not to interfere in his personal matters. Later, Rajneesh scolds Rima.

Sumit learns that Dolly is upset with Maya. He asks Maya to apologise to Dolly. Jasbir advises Sumit to not interfere in Dolly and Maya's arguments. Later, Dolly apologises to Maya and Sumit advises them to mend their relationship. Rajneesh makes Dolly and Maya realise their mistake.

Sumit tells Jasbir about Happy's bachelor party. Rajneesh reveals Jasbir and Sumit's plan to Maya and Dolly. Jasbir and Sumit hit Rajneesh for squealing on them. Dolly tells Maya about her plan to make Sumit and Jasbir realise their mistake.

Dolly tells Sumit about his cousin, Namit. On Dolly's insistence, Sumit agrees to appoint Namit as his assistant. But Namit refuses to work for him. Maya makes fun of Sumit and tells him that he looks like Namit. Sumit scolds Rajneesh for making fun of him.

Sumit insists that Puggy accompany him, Maya and Simran to a movie. Rajneesh asks Maya about Simran. Maya and Dolly tell Sumit about their plan to mend Rajneesh and Simran's relationship. Rajneesh scolds Simran for accompanying Puggy to the movie.

Monty, Puggy and Rajneesh make fun of Sumit when he tells them that Maya had sprained his hand. Sumit lies to Jasbir that he was injured while rescuing Aliya. Jasbir, too is injured. Maya asks Sumit to apologise to Jasbir for lying to him. Sumit reveals the truth to Jasbir.

Maya scolds Sumit as he refuses to dance with her. They recall an incident related to how they got married. Sumit had told Monty that he wants to propose to Maya. Maya had told Jasbir about Sumit's article in the sports magazine. Finally, she had agreed to marry Sumit after he proposed to her.

This episode is a flashback. Rajneesh and his friends make fun of Sumit. Jasbir argues with Dolly for insulting his mother. Maya gets upset when Avantika tells her that she has not seen Sumit in the marriage procession. Sumit and Maya get married. Maya scolds Sumit for having alcohol.

After returning from a wedding, Sumit and Maya keep their suitcase in the living room. Both of them assume that the other one will keep the suitcase in its place. Before leaving for Mumbai, Sumit had kept a piece of jackfruit in the suitcase. Dolly narrates a similar incident to Maya.

Jasbir dances after losing the bet with his friends. Sumit tells Maya about Jasbir's strange behaviour. Jasbir tells Sumit that he has won the bet against Manjeet and Nippi. Jasbir confronts Sumit for deceiving him. Sumit apologises to him.

Natasha introduces herself to Rajneesh assuming him to be Sumit. Rajneesh lies to Natasha that his name is Sumit. Later, Rajneesh informs Sumit about Natasha. Sumit confronts Rajneesh for lying to Natasha about his identity. Natasha too, scolds Rajneesh for lying to her.

Maya thanks Dolly for helping Aliya with her homework. Later, Dolly and Maya write Aliya's essay about the Walia family. Sumit questions Maya and Dolly for not writing about him in the essay. Aliya later tells the family that she won a prize for it.

Dolly scolds Sumit when he tells her that he had drunk alcohol as a teenager. Jasbir asks Dolly to forgive Sumit. Rajneesh tells Dolly that he knew that Sumit had consumed alcohol in his teens. Jasbir feels proud of Sumit. Later, Dolly apologises to Sumit.

Rajneesh shares his grief with Sumit and Maya. Maya gives a cheque to Rajneesh. Sumit tells Jasbir and Dolly that he has given money to Rajneesh. He scolds Rajneesh for going on a trip. Later, Sumit apologises to Rajneesh for his misbehaviour.

Sumit purchases a vacuum cleaner from a saleswoman, Malini. Maya scolds Sumit for purchasing it. Later, Dolly challenges Maya to find dust in her house. Maya tries to make Dolly realise her mistake. Dolly scolds Sumit and Jasbir for making fun of her.

Maya is surprised to see her parents. Sumit eavesdrops on Jai's arguement with Avantika. He tells Maya that her parents are going to meet a marriage counsellor. Jai reveals to the Walias about it. Maya scolds Jai and Avantika for arguing with each other.

Dolly tells Sumit that Jasbir has injured his knee. Sumit agrees to accompany Dolly to Rishikesh. Rajneesh scolds Jasbir for lying to Dolly about his injury. Dolly introduces Sumit to Subhash. Sumit scolds Subhash for his lewd behaviour with Dolly. Jasbir is happy when Dolly returns home.

Rajneesh tells Maya and Sumit about his girlfriend, Nagina. Maya asks Rajneesh to bring her home. Sumit is shocked when Nagina eats an insect. He tells Rajneesh and Maya about it, but they refuse to believe him. Later, Rajneesh is shocked to see Nagina eating insects.

Rajneesh tells Dolly that he has invited Simran for dinner. Maya tells Jasbir about Dolly's weak eyesight. She advises Dolly to go for an eye check-up. Maya and Sumit are surprised to see Dolly wearing spectacles. Dolly notices flaws in the facial features of everyone and makes them feel insecure.

Aliya tells Maya that she does not want to learn singing. Rajneesh tells Sumit and Maya that his gun has gone missing. Sumit takes singing lessons from Dolly on Maya's insistence. Dolly scolds Sumit for making fun of her teaching. Sumit apologises to Dolly.

Ajmani, Sumit's neighbour advises him to contest the Resident Welfare Association election. Jasbir asks Sumit to refuse as he is contesting the election as well. Rajneesh tries in vain to convince Sumit to withdraw his nomination. Sumit tells Maya that he has cast his vote to Jasbir.

Sumit tells Maya that he has bought a kettle to gift it to her parents. Later, he gifts a kettle to all the family members. Rajneesh thanks Sumit for the gift. Jasbir tells Sumit that Dolly has exchanged the kettle for a fryer. Sumit scolds Dolly. Jasbir and Dolly try to get the kettle back.

Jasbir is ill. His family insists that he see a doctor. Dolly tells Sumit about Jasbir's strange behaviour. She feels dejected when Rajneesh tells her about Jasbir's abnormal health report. Jasbir scolds Sumit for taking him to Dr Chaudhary. Later, they learn that Jasbir's test reports are normal.

The Walias celebrate Dolly's birthday. Sumit, Rajneesh and Jasbir gift a wall clock to Dolly. Angry after a fight, she refuses to accept the clock. Rajneesh suggests that Sumit to gift Maya the soundtrack of her favourite movie Kabhie Kabhie. Maya scolds Sumit for taking Rajneesh's advice.

Rajneesh tells Sumit that he wants to marry Simran and later decides to meet her parents. He tells Dolly that Simran's parents have refused to give her hand in marriage. Simran agrees to marry Rajneesh after he proposes to her. Simran's parents introduce Sumit to Nirdharit, their neighbour.

Sumit tells his friends about Maya's changed behaviour with him. Later, he misunderstands Maya of being attracted to her yoga teacher, Rocky. He joins the yoga classes with her. Maya is taken aback when Sumit confronts her about Rocky. The next day, Maya finds Sumit gawking at the lady yoga teacher.

Simran's parents, Nirmal and Pavitra meet Jasbir and Dolly. Jasbir makes fun of their simple living. Maya tries to convince Nirmal and Pavitra to give her family some time. Later, Nirmal and Pavitra join the Walias for lunch. Sumit confronts Nirdharit for trying to manipulate Nirmal and Pavitra.

Rita, Jasbir's childhood neighbour visits him. Sumit feels worried about Dolly. Jasbir and Rita plan to spend time together. Maya tells Dolly about Jasbir and Rita. Dolly invites Rita for lunch. Maya and Sumit are surprised to see Dolly making peace with Rita. Later, Jasbir regrets ignoring Dolly.

Sumit advises Rajneesh to sabotage the invitation emails for his sangeet so that Simran does not give him more wedding work. However, Rajneesh ends up upsetting Simran and confesses that it was Sumit and Jasbir's idea. Dolly and Maya scold them. Later, Simran and Rajneesh make up.

Rajneesh is upset as Sumit arranges a boring bachelor party for him. Sumit decides to hold the party again. However, he is upset with the arrangements made by his friends. Rajneesh learns that Sumit has arranged the party at Dolly's insistence. Later, Simran and Rajneesh have a great time.

Rajnish is worried about riding a horse on his wedding day. The Waliyas arrive at the wedding hall. Jasbir is dejected on seeing vegetarian food arranged for the wedding. Sumit learns that the pandit has not yet arrived for the marriage. Dolly learns that asked Nirmal and Pavitra to stay with him.

Jasbir feels bored at Rajneesh-Simran's wedding. Nirmal stops Jasbir from getting drunk. Dolly finds Nirdharit tied up in the bathroom and frees him. Nirmal and Pavitra tell the Walias that Rajneesh will not stay with them after the wedding. Rajneesh and Simran complete the wedding rituals.
