Homejacking

One morning, a bourgeois couple, Isabelle and Richard Deloye, are the victims of a home invasion. An attacker with unknown intentions, wearing a pink balaclava, arrives and violently sequesters them in their house in the middle of the forest.

Bilal and Yasmine Arrighe watch over their mother, who is hospitalised. In her delirium, when she mentions their missing father, Yasmine begins to hope that he may not be dead. Bilal ends up being convinced to follow his sister's intuition.

Mohamed Cassim is taking Richard's classes at university. He works as a factory worker to finance his studies. Frustrated at not being recognised for his true worth, he refuses to bow down, but a call from Isabelle gives him hope.

Abruptly separated from her brother, Yasmine is worried sick. Ready to do anything to save him, she alerts the authorities. The police officer Barthélémy, who intervened in the home-jacking, looks for clues that corroborate his suspicions.

Back 25 years earlier, to the origin of the events. Isabelle and Richard move into their house, full of desire and ambition, but time passes and their unequal professional success creates an imbalance that is difficult to fill.

The moment of truth is approaching. A last-minute clue confirms Yasmine's intuition: Nassima had discovered the truth about Mohamed's disappearance and chosen to hide it from her children to protect them.
