Chia-kai can see connections between everyone around him, yet he has never been connected to anyone himself. One day, while trying to help someone in need, he is mistaken for a pervert by the skeptical police officer Ta-wei, who promptly arrests and interrogates him.
Determined to uncover the meaning behind the mysterious silver thread connecting him to Ta-wei, Chia-kai secretly follows the police officer.
An accident occurs at Chia-kai’s residence, prompting Ta-wei to come and handle the situation. While there, he notices something unusual about the single father and his son living upstairs.
Chia-kai moves into Ta-wei’s home and starts working part-time at the police station. From then on, their days are filled with playful bickering as they gradually begin to look out for each other.
