Into the Gobi Desert with Nick Knowles

Nick Knowles travels to the Gobi Desert, where he first sights the Namnaa horse archery academy, then visits a dinosaur museum on wheels and goes camping with author and adventurer Tim Cope.

Nick heads to The Nadaam Festival, a celebration of the ancient skills that were once required to become a warrior under Genghis Khan. He takes on a formidable fighter named Ghana in a wrestling match, and then participates in some eagle training.

Nick travels to Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, the coldest capital in the world. He takes to the skies in a tandem paraglider, meets one of the world's most famous throat singers, and climbs the largest equestrian statue in the world.
