Underestimated by her father, Chonlada wants to prove herself. Her half-brother Phat, seeing her treatment, helps her land a receptionist job at her father's rival's hotel.
A maid catches Chonlada sneaking out of Apo's office at 3am and spreads to all the staff that they slept together. To dispel this rumor, Chonlada suggests that tell everyone they were talking about promoting her to be Apo's secretary.
Pat threatens to send Chonlada back to her mom if she doesn't sabotage Chef Ean's opening event and blame it on the Watin Group. Chonlada's conflicted as she hasn't seen Apo do anything unjust and wonders if she's doing the right thing.
Chonlada learns that Pat sent another person to be a mole at the Watin's hotel and is worried that he'll do something to harm Apo. Consumed by this worry, Chonlada distances herself from Apo, despite the latter's attempts to ask her out.
At the next company event, Apo tells Chonlada that the distance between them is hurting her more than whatever harm a suspicious outsider could do, so Chonlada finally gives into Apo's courting attempts and they become girlfriends.
After Apo wins a bid for a big tourism project, she reveals to Pat that she knew all along what Chonlada's identity was. Chonlada, who was listening in, crumbles and runs away believing that means that Apo never really loved her.
Apo and her cousins storm into the hotel to save Chonlada from the unwanted arranged marriage. Little did they know, Lada's already long gone, to a faraway homestay with her mom. Apo's multiple attempts to coax her back are unsuccessful.
After Chonlada storms back to the hotel and begs Apo not to resign as CEO, Apo proposes with the tulip ring. News breaks that the Wachara family is bankrupt so Chonlada gets promoted to executive of the Hua Hin branch to save them.
